Scenario setup

Read-only

Only the local isolated target can be selected.

Grafana Cloud connection: checking. Cloud execution remains disabled.

Checking saved-report storage.

Application CPU, RAM and pool counters appear during an active run. Host and database-server metrics are unavailable.

k6 uses a fixed local adapter. Dashboard RPS and latency measure application calls, excluding adapter pacing and control requests.

Operator access

Send a one-time code to your approved phone. Live SMS is used only for operator access; all load-test messaging stays simulated.

Codes expire in 5 minutes. Maximum 3 sends per hour and 6 per day; at least 60 seconds between sends. This is SMS-code sign-in, not two-factor MFA by itself.

Operator key fallback

The key is in the private .local/performance-panel/operator-key file. Copy only the key, not the Shell prompt.

History storage
Saved runs are committed to the dedicated synthetic database, with a local cache. The database must remain available across server replacement and publishing.
